Hello,
I'm Eva Boland, Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist specialising in clinical exercise for women as well as fatigue-based conditions (invisible illnesses) such as ME/CFS, POTS and fibromyalgia. It's my mission to ensure access to science-driven exercise prescription and lifestyle support without the pseudoscience woo.
I'm fascinated by female physiology and how hormonal changes, from puberty to post-menopause, affect our body composition, energy level, mood, sleep and athletic performance. There is now strong evidence that conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, prolapse and osteoporosis are significantly improved with clinical exercise.
Science, not the latest social media trends, underpins my approach. Your treatment programme will empower you with the knowledge, skills and tools to optimise your health. No more guessing, using generic programmes, Dr Google, or frustration with "nothing working". I'll be there to guide you as we work together to honor your body, ditch toxic diet and 'fitspo' culture and make lasting change.

I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, and completed my Honours Degree in Exercise Metabolism in 2006. I am a qualified Exercise Scientist, Exercise Physiologist and Clinical Pilates Instructor, and have worked in clinical practice for the past 18 years. Over this time, I have amassed hundreds of additional hours training in exercise for women's health, invisible illnesses, musculoskeletal injuries and pain. I conduct professional development courses in clinical exercise and am also a guest lecturer at The University of Canberra for the Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation Degree. I sit on numerous professional committees and have been the chair of a state Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) chapter for three years.

In my spare time I enjoy being in nature, bird watching, orchid spotting, running, hiking, travelling and savoring a good coffee.
